Modulation of dietary protein to lipid ratios for gilthead seabream on-growing during summer temperature conditions

چکیده
Gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) tend to increase fat deposition during summer farming conditions in the Mediterranean, which may negatively affect productive performance and consumers’ quality perception of final product. Therefore, this study evaluated impacts protein lipid ratios low fishmeal/fish oil diets on growth performance, body composition, feed conversion nutrient utilization on-grown temperature conditions. The experimental contained levels fishmeal, fish oil, crude (39%), differing content: 16% (MF diet) or 12% (LF diet). A trial was performed with (initial weight: 100 ± 7 g) from August October (water temperature: 23.1 2.2 ºC). digestibility also (at 23 Key indicators, whole-body composition activities digestive enzymes were at end experiment (64 days). Low dietary affected lipid, energy, amino acid digestibility, as a result, fed LF diet presented higher nitrogen faecal losses. Still, decrease not related effects enzyme activities. did compromise activity pancreatic, gastric, intestinal nor utilization, but slight impairment observed diet, probably due lower digestibility. However, potential benefit treatment towards reducing accumulation observed. Nevertheless, environmental impact losses on-growing should be considered when estimating sustainability production. This demonstrated that optimisation formulations account for conditions, especially Mediterranean aquaculture, so economic correctly more sustainable

متن کاملMetabolic fingerprinting of gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) liver to track interactions between dietary factors and seasonal temperature variations
Farmed gilthead seabream is sometimes affected by a metabolic syndrome, known as the "winter disease", which has a significant economic impact in the Mediterranean region. It is caused, among other factors, by the thermal variations that occur during colder months and there are signs that an improved nutritional status can mitigate the effects of this thermal stress. For this reason, a trial wa...
متن کاملGilthead seabream (Sparus aurata L.) innate immune response after dietary administration of heat-inactivated potential probiotics.
The effects of the dietary administration of two heat-inactivated whole bacteria from the Vibrionaceae family, singly or combined, on innate immune response of the seabream were studied. The two bacteria (Pdp11 and 51M6), which were obtained from the skin of gilthead seabream, showed in vitro characteristics that suggested they could be considered as potential fish probiotics. The fish were fed...
متن کاملDietary protein level and performance of growing Baladi kids
A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of feeding different levels of protein to black Baladi breed kids. Weanling Baladi kids (n=18; 75 to 90 days old) were selected and individually housed at our experimental farm. Kids were divided randomly to one of the three treatments for 12 weeks. The three dietary treatments were: T1: control ration, formulated according to NRC to cover the protei...
